About CRABCO™ Two young "Children Raised Around Beaufort County (CRABCO)" premiere a product line from their kid's company, CRABCO™. Aside from the special memories that will be created by the drop of the crabline, these energetic kids hope to learn more about the business world, as "CRABCO™" relies on people with disabilities who are in job training at the South Carolina Vocational RehabilitationDepartment's Center in Beaufort, SC to make, assemble and package their CRABCO crabline paint kits. "CRABCO™" is proud of their association, and is blessed to have them on their team. Having been reared in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with pluff mud between their toes, Co-Presidents, Lucius (age 10) and JaneAnn (age 7 1/2) credit their parents and grandparents for exposing them to the great fun of "crabbing." profits from CRABCO™ sales will fund their college education's and future endeavors. A portion of the sales will also be given to a charity selected by the children as their parents have instilled in them the importance of helping those less fortunate.
Both kids have been crabbing since they were old enough to hold the line and love the tug of the string which means a catch is just a net away!
JaneAnn are quick to offer tips. "The smellier the bait, the better," noted Lucius. "I use chicken necks but let them sit out for a while to get real smelly. That way, the crab can smell the bait on your line and then you scoop him up." JaneAnn is quick to point out that the crabs move quickly and can claw your fingers or toes before you can blink an eye. "You better wear shoes when you crab in case the crab gets loose and tries to claw your toes!"
through Internet sales. There's no age requirement for making happy memories so these kids hope crabbers of all ages will buy their product.
